The hut is open daily from the beginning of May to the beginning of November.
Point of departure: Car park in the Winnebachtal Valley (1,425 m); follow path no. 23 into the valley. At the material ropeway you hike in a north-westerly direction via the pasture path. After approximately 1 hour walking you leave the pasture path and continue in north-western direction to the ruins of Huber Hut (1,912 m). A short steep ascent then from above the waterfall and then there is an almost flat path to Tiefrasten pasture (2,028 m). From here you continue straight ahead and steeply upwards to Tiefrasten Hut (2,308 m).

Tiefrasten Hut (Lago di Pausa) is located at 2,308 m above sea level in the Fundres Mountains and is open from the end of May to the end of October. The hosts Regina and Oswald offer warm dishes all day and a rucksack transport with the material ropeway. Mountaineers find comfortable accommodation with 45 beds.
