Astnerberg Alm Hut is open from May to the end of October (in May and October reposingday on tuesday). From the village centre you drive in an easterly direction for about 2 km until you reach the Winnebachtal Valley. Through Winnebachtal (Val Vena) Valley you drive along a narrow asphalt road until you reach a big large park. From the car park to the hut you walk about 40 minutes. This forest path is also accessible with prams.
