From the village centre (church) you walk in a westerly direction to Hotel Tirolerhof. Here you'll see a sign-post for the biotope. Follow the sign-post to the biotope until you reach the harbour of Marga. Walk past the St. Margareth Church (open daily at 12 p.m.) to the turn-off to Talson. After approximately a half an hour hike along the Talson Road you'll reach Hauerhof.
By car (10 min.): from Hotel Tirolerhof you drive upwards in the direction of Marga. Drive past Gasthof Hohenbichl and past the St. Margareth Church to the turn-off to Talson. Drive along the Talson Road until you reach the sign-post to Hauerhof.
